Aluciant was started by Captain Stuart Duffield as the business entity/name for the provision of marine consultancy services to the industry, both directly to clients and as a contractor for other providers.
During the last eighteen months or so things have changed, to say the least. Globally, locally and even personally for everyone, it has been unprecedented and the results will be felt for the next generation and recorded in the history books whatever your views.
Due to the change of circumstances, both personally and within the industry as a whole, Aluciant is no longer trading as a marine consultancy. However, we would like to continue the use of the name and web address to provide information, guidance, news, and opinions to the marine industry.
If you would like to contribute to the content of the site, have suggestions, or something you would like to see written up then please let us know. This can even be anonymous.
As the content develops we aim to open the posts to comments and productive discussions. We also have to ensure the privacy and security of the site are maintained, so we will get that in place first.
Our first few posts will be on the subject of conducting a marine inspection/survey, the equipment, process, and final deliverable the client may be expecting. Watch this space, Linkedin, Facebook, and Twitter as we develop content.
